We've shipped a highly-requested feature: custom brand colour themes for every school portal on Alumniverse.

How to Update Your School's Colour

  1. Log in to your school admin panel
  2. Navigate to Settings → Appearance
  3. Click the colour picker next to "Primary Brand Colour"
  4. Select your school's official colour or paste a HEX code
  5. Click Save — changes apply instantly across all pages

What Changes With the Colour

The primary colour is applied to buttons, active navigation states, badges, links, and the school portal header. Alumni-facing pages, the homepage, and the login screen all reflect the updated colour automatically.

Tips for Choosing Your Colour

For best readability, use a colour with at least 4.5:1 contrast ratio against white. Dark blues, teals, and deep greens typically work best. Avoid very light yellows or pastels for primary actions.

This feature is available to all schools. More customisation options — including font selection and logo placement — are coming in Q2 2025.
