Alumniverse Launches Mentorship Matching Feature

Schools can now pair current students with working alumni based on career interests, industry, and location — all within the platform.

Alumniverse Launches Mentorship Matching Feature

Alumniverse has launched a long-awaited mentorship matching feature, allowing school administrators to create structured mentor-mentee programmes directly within the platform.

How It Works

Students complete a career interests profile indicating their preferred industries, roles, and geographic preferences. Alumni who have opted in as mentors are matched based on these preferences, their professional background, and availability.

Admins can approve matches, set session frequency targets, and track programme health through a dedicated dashboard. Mentors and mentees communicate through the platform's built-in messaging system.

Early Results

Beta schools that piloted the feature over the past three months report an average of 4.2 mentorship sessions per pair per term, with 89% of students rating the experience as "highly valuable."

Availability

The mentorship feature is available to all schools on the standard plan and above. School administrators can enable it from the Features section of their admin panel.
